About East Side Cakes

I am a home baker in Madison baking under Wisconsin Cottage Law. I've always been a casual baker, but started baking vegan cakes for family gatherings a few years ago for two family members who are vegan. When the rest of the family - many of us dairy-loving Wisconsinites - also complimented how great the cakes taste, I knew I was onto something good.

I started East Side Cakes to provide my local community with beautiful, delicious vegan cakes that taste great to everyone. The joy of a good slice of cake is central to my small business. While vegan baked goods are increasingly available at grocery stores, either prepackaged or in a box mix, the taste can't compare to something that is made from scratch, by hand, just for you.
